{ 2010 - As usual, a clueless, cowardly, weak “man” disrespected my anger today. I am female, black, poor, and lesbian in a world that is rabidly and increasingly sexist, racist, colorist, elitist, and homohating. If I was not angry, I would be dead! I actually fear people who are too blind or too ignorant to find droves of issues to be angry about!!!...It is with glee that I repost this column about a Queen I idolize. May you enjoy it and your own righteous anger!...AB }
1998
Two of my most cherished possessions are books penned by a woman I adore. They are "Volunteer Slavery: My Authentic Negro Experience" and "Straight, No Chaser: How I Became a Grown-up Black Woman". She is Jill Nelson. She is an author, sage, journalist, afrocentric activist, visionary, sister warrior, single mother, feminist, and one of my greatest inspirations.
I share Jill's love of sisterhood. I share her experiences as a middle-class child, who struggles with poverty as an adult, under the economic genocide of the New World Order. Most of all, I share her rage against racism and sexism.
Like Jill, I embrace my anger and express it regularly. I will do so ALWAYS. My anger is as much a part of my being as my joy. To deny my anger, or any other part of my truest self, would be suicidal.
Anyone who can live in this cruel, elitist, sexist, racist world and not be angry is insane/in denial. It is righteous to be angry in an evil world. Anger MUST be expressed. If I ever stop penning my anger, I may begin to express it in other ways. I may use fatal sex, bombs, crack, cocaine, alcohol, guns, or knives instead of my pen…
From “Straight, No Chaser”: “I write because I am angry. Angry at either being ignored or defined and spoken for by others… When we look in the mirror, it's hard to put on a happy face, since no matter what we do we remain who we are, black women in America, invisible at worst, unattractive at best. When was the last time you saw a black male public figure with a brown or dark-skinned wife whose hair wasn't conked or woven?
I used to try and escape my rage in notions of love, sex, orgasm, but even that does not work very often anymore. My rage's appetite has grown over the years, become more specific. Now it can only be satisfied by action, and not the pelvic kind…Recognize, understand, and put your rage to use…My rage is often so tangible I can have a conversation with it…There is no way to stay alive, a black woman in this culture and not feed my rage. Fed regularly, my rage grows stronger, wiser, more cunning…My rage is always present, never late, short or full of maybes...My rage, like Papa, don't take no mess. My rage says nothing to me but yes! yes! yes! And why not? What a host she has found in me, in this nation, in this moment...What better feeding ground for my rage than right here, with me, a black woman existing in a culture that despises women, and black people most of all. I am a two-fer in American hell. I have no intention of burning silently.”
As a lesbian, the abuse I suffer is intensified. In a world that hates "dykes" almost as much as it hates "niggers" and "bitches", my life is a trilogy of terror. Just as no sister can separate her African soul from her female soul, my lesbian soul is equally inseparable from my person and my politics. As Jill is a two-fer, I am a three-fer.
I refuse to fight with black men for my space at the bottom of the world. While sisters cry "Let's heal OUR wounds brother!", too many brothers cry "MY wound is BIGGER than yours sister!!!" It is a phallic mantra that rapes our collective revolution. (It is very similar to the homophobic cry that racist/gaybashing blacks aim at activist homosexuals: "OUR discrimination is BIGGER than yours, fag/dyke!!!")
Gender does not protect us from racism. Sexism doubles our burden. Brothers who are oppressed because of their skin oppress us because of our sex organs. We will not be silent as such fascist fallout trickles down upon us!
Macho misogynists love to whine about black women being more employed. While they ignore our lower wages for superior work. They whine about the smaller populations of black men on college campuses, while they ignore sexist professors who give superior grades/degrees to illiterate jocks like O. J. Simpson. Likewise, they ignore the rapid increase of campus date rapes, from fraternity houses to dormitories. They whine about black men in prison, as they ignore the droves of black women in identical cages, giving birth in chains to wards of states, fathered by men who never visit them.
From “Straight, No Chaser”: “The notion that black women's independence is a contributing factor to black male oppression has long been a subtext in the black community, and its political, cultural, and social movements. It is founded on the belief that women inherently have it easier, that we are less threatening and therefore given more leeway by the dominant white culture…
Nationalism required that we do the behind-the-scenes work, keep our mouths shut in public, and in private, happily assume the prone position at the whim of our King, the better to produce more male warriors. Nothing really changed for black women except the rap and the costumes…Men who refused to buy into the white man's system by working as a slave, seemed to have little problem with his woman's enslavement…
Unlike white men, we do not have most of the political power and nearly all of the corporate money. Unlike white women, we are neither the wives nor sisters of the masters of the universe. We have no National Organization for Women or other group with clout to advocate for us. Even though black women do most of the work in our communities, are the mainstay of the strongest organization African Americans have, the black church ...unlike black men, we seldom head churches, are elected to political office, are in leadership…White male politicians demonize me as a welfare cheat, illegitimate baby-making machine, and drain on government programs.
Black men single me out when they need either help or an example of why they are "endangered" or hindered. I am asked to cook the food, stuff the envelopes, open my legs, and keep my mouth shut…”
On my talk radio show, I often speak against all marches. I believe that they are all ineffectual, favoring style over substance. The flames of revolution must be fanned with far more than the winds of marching feet. I support no marches, including The Million Man March.
I would rather see a million brothers gather to pay child support, promise to become superior fathers, or pledge to be monogamous. I loathe the sexism and gaybashing of the Nation of Islam. I am wounded by the misogyny of Louis Farrakhan and the lechery of Ben Chavis.
From “Straight, No Chaser”: “Wouldn't it have been more effective for black men to amass in southeast D.C., a neighborhood with one of the highest crime rates in the country and shut down the crack houses, seize the guns, clean up the community, talk to the young brothers? But that would have required work and ongoing commitment…Was the atonement really to black women or was that just a cover story to hide the far more ominous agenda, that black men were going to apologize to the great patriarchal white father for not being real men and keeping their women and children in line, to pledge allegiance to the patriarchy of the United States of America?…
Whatever black men's failings in America, they pale by comparison to what was visited upon all black people by slavery and its continuing aftermath. When it comes to who needs to atone in America, black men are not at the top of the list…Black so-called leadership has accepted their consignment to the colored leadership ghetto, where their primary function is to either bemoan or denigrate the state of black people. They are never allowed to critique white people. Even through all the rhetoric and bad politics, Louis Farrakhan speaks to a broad spectrum of black folks because he dares to speak some truth, as many black folks see it, to white people, plain and simple…I found it hard to sit still and view the spectacle. To do so would have been to forget who I was, actively collude in my own erasure.”
I have spoken often of the brutality of Mike Tyson. Mike recently expanded his lengthy and documented record of assaulting women, to include Evander Holyfield and his ear. Unlike fellow rapist William Kennedy Smith, Mike did not receive a fair trial. Yet, he does not deserve the national fan club that dares to demand that we all regard a rapist as a hero!
From “Straight, No Chaser”: “I wasn't surprised when I heard the boys wanted to make Mike [Tyson] a hero, hold him up as a role model to our children. I was first sad, then sick, then angry…Why is it when black women stand up for ourselves we're accused of attacking black men? Is it that we have no role other than adjuncts, supporters, and appendages? Well here's what I say to those backward brothers: If your penis needs maintenance, go to an urologist, that's not my job…I cry like a baby when I hear about Deletha Word. Then I tremble with a rage so fierce my whole body vibrates. Then I go and swim for an hour and fifteen minutes. Afterward, even though I am eager to get home and lock the door, I do not drive fast and aggressively as I usually do, but slowly, cautiously, suddenly aware of another aspect of everyday violence, that for a black woman, a fender bender can mean death.”
Jill and I, and our kindred sister spirits are not bitter, we are battered! We are abused emotionally/racially/physically/politically/financially/socially etc…We are not anti-male. We are anti-misogyny. Many mindless females are misogynists too. We are not "bitches", we are survivors and warriors. We are not racists. We are realists. I prefer womanism to feminism because too many feminists prefer racism/elitism to global sisterhood.
From “Straight, No Chaser”: “White feminist women ignore me, cut deals for themselves, and then invite me to the meeting, panel or forum as an afterthought, when it suddenly occurs to them that they need a visible- and preferably silent- black woman on stage to give their self-interested agenda the image of inclusion…Nationalists essentially colluded with white men and mainstream media to portray feminism and the feminist movement as antithetical to black women who, unlike those crazy white women, had never had it good, loved men, weren't dykes, and liked wearing a bra…Twenty years later racism is alive and very well, there is no national voice or organization fighting for the rights of black women, and most of us are far from being Miss Ann, although more black men, many of them lapsed nationalists, are busy balling her.”
In an era when neocons in blackface, like Ward Connerly and Ken Hamblin, reign supreme, by chanting blindly patriotic mantras of deception and delusion, Jill's political honesty and passion are healing. She can always be counted on for a regal reality check. In a world where denial is death, sister Jill is salvation for real life. Jill eloquently describes another black neocon poster boy, Juan Williams. Juan is to racist media what Colin Powell/Colon is to Republikkkans and what Clarence Thomas/Uncle Thom is to the Supreme Court. I quote Jill, as her description of racist African immigrants is superbly applicable to Colon and his entire HNIC ilk:
From “Volunteer Slavery”: "Williams is a black Republican type, a neconservative opportunist a la Clarence Thomas. He is also of Panamanian parentage, which explains some of where he’s coming from. He typifies the worst stereotype of people of African descent who come to America inadvertently or willfully ignorant of the history of black folks born here. Many such immigrants, because they ostensibly came here voluntarily, view America as a place where, if you work hard, keep your nose clean, and obey the law, anything’s possible.
They either don’t understand or conveniently forget the hand of America, and those of other superpowers, in their native region’s dismal economy. These immigrants often have a hard time relating to and understanding African-Americans, who after centuries of experience with what psychologist Na’im Akbar calls “the chains and images of psychological slavery” do not see America as so beneficent.
Ignorant of our history, these immigrants of African descent pass judgment: “African-Americans”, they say, “are lazy, cynical, always looking for a hand-out.” They point to themselves as proof of the American dream come true. Denying the role of race, they mouth the prejudices of white immigrants in blackface. “Forget racism, history, the brutalization of the African-American psyche from the middle passage on down”, they holler. “America is a nation of immigrants, and we are just like the Irish, Polish, Japanese, and Jews who have come here.” They conveniently forget that African-Americans, unlike them, unlike any other immigrants, did not come here voluntarily; we are, all of us, children of slaves".

DEFINING RAPE:
MEANING, MYTHS, MADNESS & KOBE BRYANT
Most men want to outlaw sexual frustration. Some women do tease men sexually. Some women even lie about rape. But, even teasers and liars can be raped. Men who are teased have the right to masturbate until relieved of such sexual frustration, and the right to verbally expose their teasers and liars as revenge. But, no one has the right to rape as revenge for such sexual frustration.
Sex is never a right. It is always a privilege. Sex should never be forced upon any person, not even a spouse. Forced sex is always rape!
Most men seem unable to fathom such elementary logic about sexual relations. Funny how some men seem to exclusively grasp this truth when they imagine such scenarios with homosexual men...On my radical and revolutionary AM show “Outlook”, rape is a favorite and frequent hot topic of debate. Once in Atlanta at WIGO, a Morehouse college athlete called in and set the show off with his rabid misogyny, arrogant ignorance, and boldly remorseless celebration of routine gang rapes in athletic dorms. I will never forget that caller. He is the primary reason that I was not surprised to read of the recent brutal gay hate crime that occurred on that very same campus. Sexism and gaybashing are deeply interrelated...
Most men can only relate to the sexual vulnerability of vaginal penetration when they can imagine themselves being penetrated by a gay man. I often ask them to imagine that they are drunk and mutually experimenting willingly with a gay man...This anal penetration becomes painful and they ask the gay man to stop and withdraw....He refuses to do so and forces them to remain prone until he has ejaculated within their wounded and rigid bodies. Then I ask: "Is that rape?"...Only then do they answer "Yes".
Only when they envision this imaginary incident do they suddenly understand how easily and rapidly routine consensual sex can move into rape...These epiphanies on the air always remind me of my favorite scene in the superb film "A Time to Kill”. Sam Jackson is freed only when racist jurors are forced to envision his wounded black daughter as a white girl. Only then does her human pain matter...only when she has white skin. Likewise, men can only regard the pain and abuse of women when they are similarly sexually abused by another man....
In specific situations, anyone can be raped and anyone can be a rapist. Sluts and teasers can be raped. Nice and gentle people can become rapists. Men rape men. Women rape women. Women rape men. Men rape women. Rape can happen to anyone by anyone at anytime...
I will not judge Kobe Bryant until a jury has done so. The only thing we know now is that he cheated on his young, thin, and beautiful wife. And, he allegedly cheated without a condom. His wife appears to be at her physical peak. This could indeed mean that she has already been sentenced to a life of infidelity without parole or protection from bio-war...
I am extremely bored and disgusted with millions of men who cheat on their wives. I am amazed that so many rich married celebrities are so careless and whorish with their lucrative semen. They have multi-million dollar bodies that they risk infecting with AIDS as casually as they might risk ingesting some excess calories in a bottle of beer. They risk costly paternity battles for years as easily as they risk losing nominal cash in a casino. I am amazed when anyone risks a solid relationship with a real adult for a one night stand with an immature trick. I am most amazed at how vastly differently men and women define rape.
For the record, my definition of rape is: Any forced sex act, before, during, or after any initially consensual sexual touching or penetration. “No” means no. And, no may be stated at any time during any sex act.
Men teach women to play vicious sexual games via horribly sexist double standards for healthy sexuality. When women do what most men do, they are called whores. Men are just called men. Some women say “no” when they really mean “yes” so that they will not appear to be whores. There is a modicum of poetic justice in men being tricked by the same sexist tricks that they invented...
Tricks are for kids. Real women and men do not play such games. They respect each other enough to say what they mean. And, they listen when spoken to and immediately act accordingly. Any person has the right to change their mind during sex for any reason. Adults accept these sexually frustrating choices unconditionally.
Many men are perpetual boys. These immature men define rape as impossible beyond the point of penetration. They truly believe that once any part of their body is inside any orifice of any woman, they have the macho and unalienable right to stay there and do as they wish for as long as they wish. As long as women and men define rape so very differently, rape will continue to be inflicted very often; everywhere and every day...

“Pablum”: trite, naive, or simplistic ideas or writings; intellectual pap.
“Pavlov”: Russian physiologist who is best known for discovering the conditioned response. He won a 1904 Nobel Prize for research on the nature of digestion.
“Patronizing”: to behave in an offensively condescending manner toward.
- Random House Dictionary, 2010
I wanted President Barack Obama/GWB 2.0 to discuss three primary issues in his “ State of the Union” address:
1. His grossly failed stimulus checks to amoral bankers.
2. The escalating mortal wounds of bleeding jobs and homes.
3. His absolute serial betrayals of poor citizens.
I am repulsed that Obama addressed none of these issues. I am infuriated that he completely omitted each of these issues from his speech, along with the additional complete omission of any reference to his legendary lost power in Massachusetts, the horrid escalation of abuses at Guantanamo, and the pending civilian trials of alleged terrorists in New York City.
Amazingly, despite Obama’s vague and rambling 70 minute teleprompter session, he was actually applauded 86 times! That is more than one applause every 60 seconds. Why? Like Pavlov’s drooling lab dogs, the conditioned, incessant, and illogical clapping preceded reflexive gastric reactions in all who watched this speech with their third eye and listened to the underwhelming rhetoric that has become the signature feature of Obama’s vapid public relations events.
As always, Obama’s speech was more style than substance, more slogans than solutions, more candidate than leader. Obama reviewed several vague stories, curiously absent of specific names and references that could be researched. Why are the texts loaded into his teleprompter always devoid of any details? What was the boy’s name who allegedly sent Obama his allowance for donations to Haiti? What state does he live in? What are the names of the companies that have hired employees due to stimulus funds?...
Obama mentioned that Michelle was embarrassed by standing ovations. When will Obama be similarly embarrassed by his own standing elitist obfuscations? Obama claimed he hated giving billions to bankers. He claimed we hated it too. He is wrong. We hate that those bankers still have no loans, jobs, or refinanced homes to show after those billions have been spent.
Like Obama’s swindleus package, oratorical poetry will do absolutely nothing to stimulate our horrid economy. We need jobs and checks that are as tangible and immediate as those he gave to bankers. Unemployed people do not significantly benefit from tax breaks. But, tax relief for employers will save and create jobs. I am certain that most people would rather pay income taxes than collect unemployment checks.
Obama had the audacity to condescendingly suggest that we be patient as “budgets take a year”. We are well aware that his annual budget to date has exclusively fattened the coffers of ruthless and huge bankers. Obama’s novel idea that we now pay an additional 50 billion to smaller bankers is moronic madness! He does not need to coddle smaller clones of bankers. We need some equivalent coddling of small business owners who manage smaller groups of employees.
Obama’s empty suit is now rivaled only by his emptier speeches. His eloquent emptiness only begs more endless questions. Here are just a few:
How do lofty, long range economic dreams solve immediate nightmarish financial crises for poor people?
How long will it take for green jobs to become realities? What do the jobless do to garner green money in the interim?
How many unemployed Americans can truly and swiftly become construction workers? Why are construction workers being laid off too?
How do children whose parents are unemployed and homeless take advantage of shiny new educational incentives?
How did gutting 85 million dollars from Historically Black Colleges and Universities help anyone obtain an education?
How will blatantly ignoring the elitist genocide of “No Child Left Behind” and private school vouchers help improve public education?
How can Obama prove that he created two million jobs? What companies in what states hired two million people? Does either questionable “fact” even matter if seven million people have been unemployed?
Does Obama know that 85,000 people were unemployed in December? Has he read recent headlines about the thousands who have been laid off from Home Depot, Verizon, Sam’s Clubs, Target, and Lockheed Martin? Does he need to start reading some superior magazines?
Will Obama's future fantasy "jobs bill" actually create jobs or actually help employers create jobs? Will this bill thaw frozen funds?
When will we finally see less of the earmarks, meetings, secrecy, and clandestine politics that Obama dares to claim he has already eradicated?
When will gays be given more than lip service about the looming end of the legalized hatred and abuses of “Don’t Ask Don’t Tell” ? Is it not equally hateful to restrict equality to being official corpses, while denying gays the right to officially become spouses? How will gay soldiers, dead or alive, share their military benefits with their spouses?
Is it fair or honest to scold the horrid decision of the Supreme Court simply because they legalized the same corporate ownership of politicos that Obama and his beloved bankers clandestinely share?
How long will Obama be allowed to blame King Shrub/George W. Bush for ALL that Obama has grossly worsened and legendarily escalated on his very own presidential watch?
How will harping on the debts of Bush make Obama’s much greater debts look smaller?
Can simply moving soldiers from Iraq to Afghanistan and Iran ever really constitute the cessation of war? Will perpetually playing musical chairs with global wars/corpses belatedly earn Obama that undeserved Nobel Peace prize?
Obama's inner circle and staff have been visibly filled with lobbyists for years! Why does Obama keep feigning an aversion to lobbyists?
Why is writing checks for rich bankers the only thing that Obama can do swiftly?
Why freeze any funds only AFTER exclusively funding rich bankers and wars?...
The best part of Obama’s address was the emotional redress given by Republican Bob McDonnell, Governor of Virginia. It was succinct and specific. McDonnell reminded Obama that we need urgent fixes for jobs and tax breaks for employers. He proved to all viewers that sanity and solutions are bipartisan possibilities indeed.

{1/26/2010 - John McWhorter has decided that blacks in America are not African-Americans. To each their own… But, I agree with Malcolm X: “If a cat has kittens in an oven, they are NOT biscuits!” My ancestors are kidnapped Africans who built America as slaves. That makes me an African-American. I am certain that McWhorter and ALL of his twisted lost “black” kin were never in my tribe! See more below...}
(2010 - The following column is reposted by request…It is dedicated to child prodigy Stephen Stafford and John McWhorter. Stafford is the hope of our future and a credit to Africans globally. Stafford makes me look like a child slacker! Clearly, McWhorter is neither. McWhorter makes me vomit incessantly!...}
2000
LOSING THE RACE? LOST HIS MIND!!!
ON JOHN MCWHORTER'S RACIST NEOCON LIES
"The
white man's ice is colder..."
-ancient Uncle Thom myth
"The white man's children are better and
smarter students..."
-newest black
neocon myth
I can no longer decide which is colder: mythical white ice or a black neocon soul...But, I do know this: John McWhorter is the newest and iciest neocon-in-blackface sold out to the highest Republikkkan bidder on the political auction block! He is the author of a "book" entitled “Losing the Race: Self-Sabotage in Black America”. It should have been entitled: Losing My Mind: On Self Hatred and Being a Saboteur in Black America.
I write this column with a level of disrespect deeper than any that I have ever known. Why? Because I have always felt alive on a university campus. Because I revere academia. Because McWhorter is pissing strongly on academia nationwide and calling it heavy rain. Read on...
Questions: How do you justify racist regressive legislation that legitimizes a mythical color-blind reality? How do you secure white power in an increasingly nonwhite world? How do you explain the sudden whitewash of academic landscapes immediately after Proposition 209?
Answers: Find one yellow insider (with that mandatory generic black neocon haircut) and encourage him to become the Clarence Thomas of academia. Find one house nigger with a Ph.D. and a post at a legendary academic institution. Find one who is willing to mask his neocon Republikkkan political agenda as new academic wisdom. Purchase his loyalty with a lucrative publishing contract. Make him pen a new version of the "The Bell Curve"... Voila! We now have the perfect new book to justify the perfect apartheid-ish new look of academia!...
Just as truth cracked the hell out of “The Bell Curve”, truth will also win the last lap over "Losing the Race"!!! Laziness, ineptitude, and amorality are as common within all American students as hormones, acne, and caffeine. Who would dare say that they have never seen a pathetic student who is white or a superb student who is black?!?
Ironically, McWhorter claims that racism is a conspiracy. Yet, his own racist libel and slander are proofs of conspiracy. I am utterly disgusted by any racist fool like McWhorter who would dare to claim that African-American students have any monopoly on being poor students!!! Any honest and sane professor will proclaim that superior students come in every race, just as inept ones do. Being an inferior student is not a racial ill, it is a universally American cultural one.
Slackers are as universal as traitors like McWhorter. If my vastly white professors were as biased and racist as McWhorter, I would never have become a scholar in academia or a success in corporate America. From preparatory school to a superior university to Fortune 500 corporations to multimedia broadcast careers to graduate school, I was blessed never to be abused by a psychotic, bigoted, and blind professor or manager like McWhorter. Each day I am more shocked by the increasingly heinous betrayal of the black neocons of the world. They are soulless monsters like McWhorter and his clones like Clarence Thomas, Thomas Sowell, Colin Powell (Colon), Shelby Steele, flaming closet gay Armstrong Williams, psycho Ward Connerly, pimp trick Ken Hamblin, Larry Elders, Ezola Foster ("Ebola") etc.. They are eternal proof that overseers can be far crueler than their massas.
It is always easier to ignore reality than to dare to change it. I will die trying to improve reality. The cowardly and conniving McWhorters of the world will die justifying its glaring injustices and inequities. Karma and truth will bless my efforts. Karma and truth will sabotage theirs.
No other people in America have endured the abuses that African-Americans continue to endure. McWhorter's dementia and his blackened version of “The Bell Curve” are textbook examples of the unique self-hatred and suicide that continue to destroy African-American realities. McWhorter and his rabid Republikkkan ilk are doing all that they can to oppress and enslave us, even as they simultaneously and hypocritically demand that we regard oppression and slavery as relics of the past.
It is demonically duplicitous to claim that rich black kids have no typically urban or socioeconomic pathologies upon which to blame their alleged academic inferiority. Then, in the same foul breath, claim that these same rich black kids are victims of a poor urban mentality that makes intellectualism and achievement "uncool". I dare McWhorter to explain how these rich black kids acquired such ghetto mentalities? I also dare him to prove that rich white kids are superior to their elite black peers. Most rich white kids are far more obsessed with MTV's ghetto life and art than any rich black kid could ever be!
I grew up with many elite black kids who never spoke ebonics or slacked! We all coveted academic awards! It was never considered uncool to excel in my academic circles. In fact, academic excellence was our coolest aspiration and the focal point of our most intense competitions. Intellectualism was even mandatory for entry into and status within our elite black "in crowd."
I challenge McWhorter to spend a day away from the ivory tower that is his campus office. I suggest that he spend a day perusing through the academic file cabinets of white Greek fraternity houses where he will locate backdated droves of the exams and papers that impress him so much. I suggest that he spend a day with some excellent international students. (I recommend Africans, Asians, or Jamaicans.). He should hang out in a computer lab with a few Internet wizards. They could download some term papers or theses to dazzle him from websites that are all owned by white students. He should chat at length with them about things generally foreign to all American students, irrespective of race or class. They should discuss things like work ethics, starkly idyllic American dreams, ethnic mentors, and cultural unity.
McWhorter and his ilk intensify racism and oppression by championing the mythical inferiority of African-American students from elite black families who attend elite white academic institutions. I am one of those students. It is why I loathe McWhorter so deeply for his completely libelous, personally offensive, lauded pack of lies!!!!
I want nothing more than to see more African-American students excel academically. Education is the key to success. For four brief years, President Select Shrub/George W. Bush and his ilk will make success more difficult than ever in every arena. I know the value of superior education because I have always cherished and been blessed by my own:
In 1976, I began attending the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (UIUC), at the age of 12. I was admitted due to my superior intelligence and my acceptance into a university preparatory school program. In order to be admitted to that adult curriculum as a pre-teen, I endured several days of intensely competitive testing with predominately white students. My parents and I were interviewed extensively. My IQ was tested and my parents were instructed to keep my bona fide genius score a secret...
I was the only black girl in my class for three years. And, each year I graduated at the top of my class. In 1980, I proceeded to become a formal undergraduate student at that same university. In 1984, after extensive extra-curricular pursuits (including paraprofessional peer consulting, becoming an honorary mock attorney, attending formal conferences to speak for faculty members, ad hoc membership on Chancellors' committees, leading numerous afrocentric student organizational actions and protests, managing The Daily Illini, the award winning campus newspaper office, and founding black campus radio station WBML etc...), I graduated as a member of Who's Who in American Universities & Colleges. In a graduating class of 7500, I earned a selection as a member of Senior 100 Honorary.
In 1984, I began a fifteen year quadruple career as a corporate staffer, a radio producer/host, and a columnist. Now, at 37, I am currently completing a Master of Arts degree in Interpersonal and Organizational Communication at the top of my class with a 4.0 cumulative grade point average.
Unlike the admittedly insecure and professionally haunted McWhorter, I do not doubt any of my qualifications for any of my posts. And, I never will. I am certain that I have earned every post that I have ever held. In fact, I am certain that I would have been rewarded with even greater posts had my skin been white. I regret that McWhorter feels he may have been handed his career by liberal Democrats. My hands are worn from the toil that I have spent earning each of my own careers.
In the real world, we elite black students know that, as a rule, we must work three times as hard as our white peers to obtain the same grades. We can see that there are millions of students who look like us that do not come from elite schools or educated families. We know that we must succeed, by any means necessary, not only for ourselves, but for all Africans, rich or poor, gifted or average. And we do so because, unlike the deluded, racist, and elitist McWhorter, we understand that we will always be lumped together by racists like him! Thus, we must remain one collective and defiant exception to the racist rules of sabotage, slander, and libel that are promulgated by McWhorter and his sadistic posse of rabidly self-loathing fools.
Unlike McWhorter, I love myself. I respect my own performance and posts. And, I love African-American people. I know that the hopelessness of anyone or anything is easiest to endure when one is totally detached from that person or thing. (Ask any family member in pain because they dare to love the children of toxic deadbeat kin!!!). Neocons like McWhorter are cowards in pain. I know this because I am braver and stronger than these poster houseboy puppets.
I am brave enough to admit that real African-American pathologies exist and that they enrage, shame, and repulse me. And, many African American students are as pathetic as the very worst of their white peers. Yet, unlike McWhorter, I embrace the complex realities of those ills and resolve myself to mentor, drive, and even curse inferior African-American students beyond their flaws into excellent futures. McWhorter would rather chant racist mantras, and promote mythical nonsense that invites genocidal political schemes. He prefers to ensure such students have no academic futures at all. McWhorter and his fellow traitors solely champion schemes like "school vouchers" that will precede the total annihilation and abandonment of urban school systems.
I am a salvation. He is a saboteur. I want campuses to blacken, so that I will have afrocentric intellectual kindred company. He wants to make campuses even whiter than they are, so that he will shine more brightly as the sole golden Negro company man. This is a classic house nigger tactic that is an ongoing symptom of Post Traumatic Slavery Stress Disorder (PTSSD). Because McWhorter is still a slave, he wants students who are darkies banished from his academic plantation.
I strive to empower and emancipate black scholars, as McWhorter works overtime to secure the deadbolt locks on the doors to ever whitening bastions of academia. McWhorter and I are both enduring excrutiating racial pain. My pain is numbed by African-American excellence. His is numbed by African-American eradication. I seek to increase our numbers in universities. He seeks to sanction our scarcity.
Millions of African-Americans from diverse socioeconomic and educational backgrounds are intellectually superior and successful. We have spent our entire lives working diligently to become superior scholars and professionals in every arena. However, unlike McWhorter and his ilk, we do not allow that success to blind us to reality. We do not become demented by delusions of our own uniqueness or grandeur. We do not fall victim to the compliments of racist whites who view us as anomolies as they divide and conquer us. We question our rarity. We do not revel in it.
We look beyond our egos to view those who fell prey to racist and elitist obstacles that we were blessed to evade. We reach back to pull others who look like us up with us. We build academic afrocentric bridges that the eurocentric McWhorters of the world desire only to burn down. They torch those bridges as they sit grandly upon their own thrones. They are ruthless and honorary niggers in academic Big Houses. See their antics exposed in the books and links below.
Affirmative action is mandatory for affirmative discrimination. Abolishing affirmative action is mandatory for affirmative ghettoization. Saboteurs like McWhorter and their suicidal self-loathing ilk enjoy being regarded as intellectual novelties. They enjoy propagandizing for racist politicians who will ensure that they remain the only Black faces in their elitist white circles.
The betrayals by McWhorter and his ilk will ensure that our struggle for racial equality will become increasingly difficult. They enjoy the lies that they spread. They enjoy the games that they play. They are as efficient as they are cursed...
McWhorter, his peers, and his puppeteers never really desire racial equality in academia or anywhere else. Wherever true racial equality is achieved, African-Americans excel. In the armed forces and in athletic arenas, African-Americans habitually and historically shine brighter than any of their white peers. In medicine, Dr. Ben Carson shines. In child education, Marva Collins shines. When academia purges itself of more racists like McWhorters, we will shine in academia also.
Public Enemy and Maya Angelou said it best. "It takes a nation of millions to hold us back.... And, still, we rise." I close with a poetic dedication to McWhorter:
"Still I Rise"
by Maya Angelou
You may write me down
in history
With your bitter, twisted lies
You may trod me in the very dirt
But still, like dust, I'll rise.
Does my sassiness upset you?
Why are you beset with gloom?
'Cause I walk like I've got oil wells
Pumping in my living room.
Just like moons and like suns,
With the certainty of tides,
Just like hopes springing high,
Still I'll rise.
Did you want to see me broken?
Bowed head and lowered eyes?
Shoulders falling down like teardrops?
Weakened by my soulful cries?
Does my haughtiness offend you?
Don't you take it awful hard
'Cause I laugh like I've got gold mines
Diggin' in my own back yard.
You may shoot me with your words,
You may cut me with your eyes,
You may kill me with your hatefulness,
But still, like air, I'll rise.
Does my sexiness upset you?
Does it come as a surprise
That I dance like I've got diamonds
At the meeting of my thighs?
Out of the huts of history's shame
I rise.
Up from a past that's rooted in pain
I rise.
I'm a black ocean, leaping and wide,
Welling and swelling I bear in the
tide.
Leaving behind nights of terror and
fear
I rise.
Into a daybreak that's wondrously clear
I rise.
Bringing the gifts that my ancestors
gave,
I am the dream and the
hope of the slave.
I rise.
I rise.
I rise.
Don't believe the racist Reuplikkkan academic hype!!!

Read the racist delusions of the eurocentric loon McWhorter:
(2010 - This review is dedicated to Ellis Cose, a regal brother I adore. It is also dedicated to every one of his fellow global African Kings. It is NOT dedicated to any black court jesters because NONE of you are in our tribes!!!...AB)
1993
I always find it comically amusing when foolish gaybashers assume that I hate men because I am a lesbian who is brave enough to tell or pen uncensored truths about men. They have no idea how much I love and admire many men in my family. They are ignorant about the droves of dear and intimate male mentors and friends, heterosexual and homosexual, black and white, who make me laugh and feel alive. They know nothing about the brothers I adore like: Charles Green, Duane Cramer, Mark Starr, Labi Siffre, Bryan Cambrice, Steven Ivory, Dr. Michael Eric Dyson, Rawjah, Rippa, Jamaa Fanaka, Ras Abudah, Phillipe, Fyah Wyah, Dr. Asa Hilliard, Dr. Mutulu Shakur, Tim Anthony, Willie Davis, Rod McCullom and countless others who share/shared my life…
These are the men who are kindred spirits and dear friends. The men who inspire me, believe in me, and encourage me. They comfort, console, and cheer me when sistas break my heart. These great men network for me, temper me, and ground me.
All of the men that I love collectively hold up half the sky....they ease my burdens in a world that hates and wounds. It often seems as if the sky is falling down upon me and my sistas. The collective spirits of all the men I love heal my own spirit, when it is bruised and nearly broken by the incessant and increasingly hard and low blows of racism, sexism, and homohatred.
I revere and adore so many other brothers from a distance, men who make me proud to be an African-American. They are rebels, artists, authors, and scholars. They are men like: Malcolm X, Denzel Washington, Donnell Jones, James Baldwin, Billy Strayhorn, Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., Albert Cleage, Bayard Rustin, Thurgood Marshall, Quincy Jones, Blair Underwood, Langston Hughes, Will Smith, Deion Sanders, Mumia Abu-Jamal, Geronimo Pratt, Tavis Smiley, Marcus Garvey, Bill Cosby, Harry Belafonte, Steve Harvey, Dr. Cornel West, Blair Underwood, Bill Withers, Huey Newton, Tupac Shakur, Quincy Jones II, Quincy Jones III, and droves more...
My mother, Laura Delores Strong-Banks, loves libraries. She taught me to do the same at a very young age. I have been a voracious reader since I was a small child. I have read at least five books a week for decades. Without exception, “The Envy of the World: On Being a Black Man in America” penned by my gifted, fellow native Chicagoan, author Ellis Cose, is the most comprehensive examination of the best and worst of Black manhood that I have ever read.
Cose has penned several classic works. I will now add this one to the top of his list. This book is a masterfully crafted survival tool for our race. It is spiritual medicine for the increasingly toxic and infectious illnesses of criminality and sexism that cripple droves of African-American males today. In his typically coherent and cerebral style, Cose has penned powerful poetry, inspirational intelligence, and salvational sanity.
Expertly and admirably, Cose shares the collective visions of an entire race, with clarity and empathy across all boundaries of gender and class. Frequent references are made to James Baldwin, a literary idol who I am certain would be very proud of this book. Like Baldwin, Cose expertly and eloquently masters describing the entire scope of African-American interpersonal, interracial, intraracial, intercultural, and intergender dilemmas.
Cose superbly indicts enemies of the world and of the self. He intricately details the perils that black men endure while calling them to task on the perils that they create. He has penned a consummate and balanced portrait of real black men, equally highlighting their perfections and flaws. Surprisingly, Cose even takes the reader into the hearts and eyes of black women to reveal our collective perceptions of black men.
By revealing so many truths so deeply, Cose has fashioned a primer for multi-faceted liberation. He debunks myths and thoroughly examines racist stereotypes and internalized madness that have dually poisoned the spirits and murdered the psyches of so many lost black men. This book is a celebration of exceptional achievement, revolutionary defiance, and infinite potential. It is a soulful manifesto for sole survivors, and a poetic lament for the soulless.
The following excerpts from The Envy of the World: On Being a Black Man in America capture the magic of Cose’s literary prose and the depth of his wise vision:
“...the vague entity called society ...had created colonies, labeled ghettos, where young boys like myself learned every conceivable lesson in being cool, but were kept ignorant of the way the larger world worked and of the skills we would need to survive in it...
Virtually every bright kid who bumps up against the typical ghetto school system is bound to be bruised by the encounter...many of us equate acting a fool with ‘acting black’....you are lost without a decent education......there is a breakdown of intergenerational empathy - and a diminished parental ability to educate.
The joke, of course, is on us. For while the white hipsters of the fifties, and the wiggers of the present can shed their “Black” identity whenever they tire of the charade, many of us have taken this hopped-up thuggish character to be the essence of who and what we are.
..we desperately need to promote archetypes other than rappers, thugs, and ballplayers, of what it is possible and desirable for us to be.
The very fact that a so-called revolutionary group [The Black Panther Party] could embrace a man [Eldridge Cleaver] who ‘practiced' rape on black women says volumes about the misogyny that has long existed in our midst.
..somewhere between coddling wrongdoers and destroying their spirit, lies a better way...Obviously, in many eyes, the lives of ordinary blacks are not quite as precious as those of ordinary whites...we will create more of the very monsters that we most fear, by condemning more and more souls that could have been saved to prisons, where their only choice is to mold themselves in the image of those who are truly beyond redemption.
Pimping is easier (psychologically at least) than proving ourselves - than winning acceptance - in arenas such as the classroom, where we have been told that we do not belong.
More and more black women are deciding to go it alone, or look beyond the black community for suitable mates, or to see men principally as providers of sperm, as so many see themselves.
...what is often characterized as behavior directed at black women is just the way some black men treat all women...when it comes to women and children, we as a group are guilty of just about everything of which we stand accused. And we damn well know it.
Many [black men] have developed an arrogance when it comes to the opposite sex, and consequently behave in ways that make women feel extremely angry and insecure...only a fool - or someone totally ignorant of American history - could blame black women for being hurt or upset when their men go off with women of other races...There are still many of us who are somewhat color struck.
Those who love us...are our salvation...”
Read this book today! Rush a copy to any black man you love. Urge every brother you know to do the same! Its pages are full of racial and sexual candor, reality, wisdom, prophecy, honesty, and African-American history. This book documents proof of conspiracies and sabotage as it simultaneously analyzes institutional genocide and cultural suicide.

2004 RAINBOW HYPOCRISY: ON GAY MARRIAGE {This is dedicated to all of my fellow homosexual warriors for justice: Audre Lorde, Angela Davis, James Baldwin, Bayard Rustin, and many more... It is also dedicated to my academic and rebel intellectual idol, Dr. Michael Eric Dyson. He is my revered heterosexual brother who holds up half of my sky...AB} Jesse Jackson has decided that gay marriages should be banned. Clearly, marriage is so sacred and holy to Jesse that he recently impregnated one woman while he was sacredly and legally married to another. What is next for this adulterous “baby daddy”? The pre-baby daddy Jesse feigned that he believed gays were human beings who deserved fully equal civil and human rights, while he was pimping our votes for his presidential bid or begging for gay dollars in his Rainbow Coalition. The pre-baby daddy Jesse was “Captain Human”. The new post-baby daddy Jesse sounds just like every other adulterous, hypocritical, gaybashing, unread bible toting, psuedo-christian preacher peer. His buybull is shameful!!!! Why is Jesse changing up his rhymes so now? Will Jesse now become King Shrub’s/President Select George W. Bush’s vice-presidential running mate? Will Dick Cheney suddenly drop out of King Shrub’s campaign rather than continue to betray his very own lesbian daughter? Stranger things have happened. Truth is indeed stranger than fiction. And, indeed, gaybashers get stranger everyday. I have stated for decades and I will always believe that African-American and global African gaybashers are the most rabid gaybashers on earth. See the links below regarding reggae music’s routinely bloody gaybashing lyrics, the gaybashing legacies of civil rights leaders and academic scholars who continue to betray and disrespect superior and legendary black warriors and intellectuals who are homosexual, the syncopated sexism and misogyny on crack that fuel most rap music lyrics, ignorant miseducated black preachers who chant mantras of ancient hateful biblical lies about homosexuals as weekly Sunday sermons… These vicious black gaybashers get stranger every day. Black people brazenly ignore their bibles completely unless they are referring to homosexuals. Black people who dare to order homosexuals to obey nonexistent biblical marital laws for homosexuals simultaneously disobey biblical laws that order married heterosexuals as follows: Marriage in the United States shall consist of a union between one man and one or more women. (Genesis 29:17-28; II Samuel 3:2-5) Marriage shall not impede a man's right to take concubines in addition to his wife or wives. (II Samuel; 5:13; I Kings 11:3; II Chronicles 11:21) A marriage shall be considered valid only if the wife is a virgin. If the wife is not a virgin, she shall be executed. (Deutoronomy 22:13-21) Marriage between a believer and a nonbeliever shall be forbidden. (Genesis 24:3; Numbers 25:1-9; Ezra 9:12; Nehemiah 10:30) Since marriage is for life, neither this Constitution nor the Constitution of any State, nor any state or federal law, shall be construed to permit divorce. (Deuteronomy 22:19; Mark 10:9) If a married man dies without children, his brother shall marry the widow. If he refuses to marry his brother's widow or deliberately does not give her children, he shall pay a fine of one shoe and be Divorced people may not remarry without being considered adulterers. (Matthew 5:31-32) (Mark 10:4) Adulterers shall be stoned to death. (Leviticus 20:10) … Perhaps most strangely of all to date: Black people who know that King Shrub is a thief, a liar, a racist, a warmonger, and a global mass murderer who has literally destroyed America’s economy, educational arenas, and international security will actually vote for him soon simply because he hates homosexuals. More intensifying strangeness looms...These strange political sagas continue and worsen daily... Where there is no justice, there will never be any peace. We homosexuals are humans. We are who we are born to be. We demand the very same human rights as all other humans. We demand that humans who gaybash, hate, and fear us get over all of those personal problems immediately. We refuse to allow you to legislate those personal problems into any constitutional law!!! Whether we ever legally marry or not, our sacred and divine homosexual loves live eternally to defy you!!! The entire gay marriage debate is a political blinder, deliberately designed by Republikkkans to garner new/actual votes for King Shrub. Remember this: King Shrub is gunning for gays tonight. But, King Shrub will be gunning for you in the morning. King Shrub has and will continue to destroy all American lives. Only a heterosexual fool will be blinded by such deliberate homosexual distractions... Black people who witnessed a racist moron and his brazenly evil brother and other politrickal allies steal an entire election, by tampering with democracy and national voter processes, are eager to allow this same thief to tamper with the U. S. Constitution. Black people who believe that the very same Constitution that had to be amended to remind Americans that slavery was legal, that slaves were property on all American soil, and that blacks can vote, truly feel that same Constitution should now be amended to remind gays that we are lesser humans who can never marry. Black people who were legally forbidden to marry white lovers now encourage and plan to vote for the very same marital outlawing of gay spouses. More than 66% of black heterosexual marriages end in divorce. Yet, Black people dare to feign that homosexual weddings will “destabilize” marriage. Black people who dare to lament how “The Black Family” is wounded by countless toxic, sexist, dysfunctional, criminal, misogynist, pathological heterosexuals can never explain how positive homosexuals hurt any black family. Black people would rather lament absent or toxic heterosexual family members than respect and honor superior homosexual family members who are present and productive. Black people, who increasingly define “family” as a poor, single, uneducated mother with children by multiple fathers, dare to deny two stable, professional, educated, gainfully employed gay persons the legal right to rear biological or adoptive children as married parents. Black people who truly believe that homosexuals arbitrarily choose to be gay can never ever give one valid reason why any person would ever choose to be homosexual. Black people refuse to accept scientific evidence that proves that homosexuals are born into literally every living species. Accurately, Black people never refer to heterosexuality as a mere “lifestyle”. Black people do define and revere “pimping” as a lifestyle and they dare to equate being born a homosexual with being a pimp. Black people who know all about the infamous “Tuskegee Syphilis Experiment” and countless other documented cases of federally sanctioned biological and chemical warfare dare to believe that AIDS is a plague from God created to kill homosexuals. Black people who know that sexually transmitted AIDS never affects exclusive lesbians refuse to believe that lesbians are God’s chosen people. Black people refuse to accept the documented fact that King James was a homosexual even as they use his own misinterpreted bible to gaybash. Black people were abused by the bible and other religious texts, and wounded by white supremacist and sexist religions, which made their own global kidnapping and enslavement divine, and annihilated their own African religions, which are rooted in female polygoddesses. Yet, black people have decided to embrace that very same racist and sexist book/buybull, penned by human men, to lend a similarly evil and false divinity to their hatred and abuse of gays. Black homosexuals who are habitually verbally, emotionally, and spiritually tortured by gaybashing hypocritical preachers still attend their hateful and sinful “Christian” churches faithfully and pay tithes. Gay dollars are NEVER rejected by gaybashing preachers. Masochistic gay fools must stop attending and tithing at homohating churches!!! "They came after the Jews, and I was not a Jew, so I did not object. They came after the Catholics, and I was not a Catholic, so I did not object. They came after the trade unionists, and I was not a trade unionist, so I did not object. Then they came after me and there was nobody left to object." For more information on King James's very own homosexuality, read: KING JAMES & LETTERS OF HOMOEROTIC DESIRE by D. Bergeron KING JAMES & THE HISTORY OF HOMOSEXUALITY by M. McGrath THE ENCYCLOPEDIA BRITANNICA ********************************************************************************** 2004 SAME SEX...SAME STUPIDITY The debate over same sex marriage is a legendary example of deliberate distraction. In this election year, when the New World Order looms over record poverty, unemployment, downsizing, biological warfare, starvation, homelessness, skyrocketing tuition, prison labor, mandatory sentencing, and much more, homosexual marriage is a SHOCKINGLY MEANINGLESS issue; chosen as an EQUALLY shocking and transparent political smokescreen. The same hypocrites who dare to claim that the government should never legalize such “sinful” unions, demand that the government uniquely demonize homosexuals as sinners who should never be united in sacred matrimony. The same neocons who claim they want the government out of rabid capitalist boardrooms encourage the selective policing of homosexual bedrooms. Hatred is a family value to members of the demonic wrong who blasphemously masquerade as the “religious right”. Homosexuals are being scapegoated as the supreme destroyers of “The American Family”. If homosexual families are legalized, the blame for America’s broken families would have to be placed upon those who DESERVE it!!! (i.e. all of the deadbeat dads; all of the CEO’s who deliberately fashion poverty, joblessness and a permanent underclass; all of the politicians who criminalize poverty, and encourage incarceration/orphans/perpetual welfare etc.; all of the crack, cocaine, and alcohol dealers from the White House to the corner store….) Sound bytes are easier to create if you speak of only one enemy; even if that enemy is a fictitious one. Homosexuals are the fabricated enemies of choice for those the new creator of political sounds bytes. In reality ( a place where bigots never dwell), “family” is a diverse and limitless configuration of persons who share their lives. Spouses are persons who share their lives in any monogamous union. There are millions of happy, healthy homosexual families and spouses everywhere. Soul mates are wed in their hearts, where it matters. No one needs to legally sanction their souls!!! To those of you who join these racist pseudo-christians in their buybull gaybashing, do not dare forget the following: Homosexual spouses can never do SO MUCH that you take for granted, like share medical benefits or rent a car as a couple... Homosexuals can never make foreign spouses U.S. citizens. Homosexual spouses are at the mercy of estranged, gaybashing relatives who rob our spouses, upon our deaths, because homophobia denies us any spousal property rights. Homosexuals can be legally ejected from their spouses’ death beds inside hospitals. Gaybashing kin can rush to steal assets and make medical decisions in lieu of homosexual spouses anytime they choose to do so. Homosexual are the new “niggers” in America. But all Blacks are STILL regarded as preferred niggers globally!!! Black gay men are double niggers. Black lesbians are triple niggers as we are Black, female, and gay in a world that is simultaneously racist, sexist and homohating. Heterosexuals who dare to paint marriage as some elite, institutional utopia forget soaring divorce rates. They forget droves of battered spouses, alive and dead. But, most of all, they forget the hypocritical politicians (including weak, waffling “Slick Willie” Bill Clinton) who are legally married adulterers/pedophiles/whoremongers/ closeted gays/habitual divorcees/etc.....They DISGRACE marriage far more than any loving homosexual spouses EVER could!!! "During times of universal deceit, telling the truth becomes a revolutionary act.
The Party seeks power entirely for its own sake. We are not interested in the good of others; we are interested solely in power. Not wealth or luxury or long life or happiness: only power, pure power. What pure power means you will understand presently.
We are different from all the oligarchies of the past, in that we know what we are doing. All the others, even those who resembled ourselves, were cowards and hypocrites.
We know that no one ever seizes power with the intention of relinquishing it. Power is not a means; it is an end. One does not establish a dictatorship in order to safeguard a revolution; one makes the revolution in order to establish the dictatorship. The object of persecution is persecution. The object of torture is torture. The object of power is power.
The ideal set up by the Party was something huge, terrible, and glittering—a world of steel and concrete, of monstrous machines and terrifying weapons—a nation of warriors and fanatics, marching forward in perfect unity, all thinking the same thoughts and shouting the same slogans
War against a foreign country only happens when the moneyed classes think they are going to profit from it.
But always—do not forget this Winston—always there will be the intoxication of power, constantly increasing and constantly growing subtler. Always, at every moment, there will be the thrill of victory, the sensation of trampling on an enemy who is helpless. If you want a picture of the future, imagine a boot stomping on a human face—forever."
--George Orwell - “1984”

isn't."

Horrible evils are difficult to hear and painful to believe. All nightmares begin as myths. All myths begin as rumors. Far too often, mythical rumors are exposed as morbid truths.
I am certain that the first Jewish person who heard that trains were taking kindred spirits to be gassed inside huge ovens doubted the macabre horrors of that morbid message. The first African who heard that pale marauders were snatching tribal kin from lush jungles, to stuff them into the dank bowels of large ships owned by slavers similarly withheld belief.
When Spike Lee told the world that some victims of Hurricane Katrina still insist that they heard bombs before the levees broke in New Orleans, many dismissed his rebel truths... For decades, legendary racist Strom Thurmond’s detractors ardently swore he fathered a daughter by a black woman. Most people could not imagine that daughter being more than a comical racist myth... Black male human guinea pigs, in the renowned
“Tuskegee Syphilis Experiment”, believed the government was lying about treating their disease, even as they fatally infected their wives and children. These truths were ignored as the rants of the paranoid, rural, and uneducated... Scientists have expertly documented that AIDS was created at Fort Detrick, Maryland and injected into Africans by the World Health Organization as “smallpox vaccines”, and into gay American men in major cities as a “Hepatitis B shot”. There are still blindly patriotic drones who refuse to accept eons of this documentation …Truth is always stranger than fiction.
In 2010, we have become jaded by decades of unprecedented global corruption. Brutally amoral war mongering elitists have become more ruthless to poor people everywhere. The hoax of President Obama GWB 2.0 has enraged the masses. Even former Obama Nazis have been jolted and awakened by the insanity of the ruthless ravaging of jobless and homeless voters nationwide.
Just as we begin to doubt whether the brutal man made political, financial, climatic, and militaristic catastrophes could ever get any worse, massive earthquakes decimate Haiti. Is weather a fatally new weapon for a New World Order? Are the ongoing earthquakes that are pulverizing Haiti and erasing Haitian people truly “natural” disasters? Is nature completing the eradication of “useless eaters” whom the biological genocide of AIDS spared?
I know that no government evil is impossible. I know that depopulation is a formally documented global political agenda. I know that nightmares are increasingly real. What do millions of us need to know about weather as a weapon?

Dr. Harris-Lacewelll:
I admire your work. So, I was truly shocked to see someone as intelligent as you pen such rabidly revisionist ignorance about President Barack Obama/GWB 2.0 and Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. You are living proof that even the most uniquely intellectual black persons are not immune to the typically hypnotic adoration of the blackish Obama.
It is profoundly revealing that you began your deeply flawed analyses of Obama with a reference to his surreal inauguration day. That is the very same day that Obama arrogantly disrespected and simultaneously disgraced the memory of King by refusing to even utter his name. And, it has been so very long since that day indeed…
Today, as we gaze at Obama more than a year later, we see that he has brutally escalated the wars he incessantly promised to end. We have watched him brazenly tell black voters to expect no presidential favors, as he has chosen to legendarily favor criminal bankers with more billions of dollars bilked from poor taxpayers than ever before. Obama has become a boldly unapologetic elitist and increasingly bloody warmonger. Obama has become less like King than any other black politico I can even begin to imagine. Why would anyone condone such colorless betrayals as they compare Obama to the universally multiracial King, a drum major and warrior for global peace and anti-poverty?
As always, Dr. Michael Eric Dyson spoke the truth about Obama’s blatant evasions of all racial issues. Obama has incessantly divorced himself from any remote hint of blackness since he pimped black voters to become president. After securing that office, Obama immediately became as colorless as possible. And, he continues to whiten himself daily.
Obama has gutted 85 million dollars from federal funding for historically black colleges and universities. He has refused to utter the names of Sean Bell or Oscar Grant like he called out that of fellow elitist Dr. Henry Louis “Skip” Gates. Obama has flippantly and callously reminded victims of Katrina that he will be writing no checks for them as he has written for rich bankers. He has left millions of poor blacks uninsured as “health reform” has been tailored to exclusively benefit medical corporations. Obama has made it clear that he is a proudly corporate green president as he demands that we never ask him to become politically darkened by any similar allegiance to any black political niches. Why have you excused Obama’s racist and treacherous intraracial offenses while simultaneously denying Dyson’s truthful intraracial observations?
Both King and Obama are mere mortals indeed. Yet, that may be their only valid commonality. King was anti-war and anti-elitist. Obama is the poster boy-in-chief for both war and elitism. King was slain while daring to empower poor people. Obama has already left legions of poor people mortally wounded by poverty and war around the globe. King was a global pacifist and humanitarian. Obama has been a fiscal and militaristic global horror. Could two men be any more starkly and completely different?
I found it very curious that your thorough and surgical dissection of King’s human flaws conspicuously omitted his renowned womanizing. As a lesbian with a spouse who has no individual legal rights to our marital assets, Obama’s similarly notorious, yet far less clandestine and bisexual serial adultery is far more offensive to me. I deeply resent that Obama is a cheating down-low “brother” who dares to bromance a posse of homohaters, even as he denies monogamous lesbians like my spouse and I the very same human marital and civil rights that he shares with Michelle.
As a feminist, I completely agree with your expert documentation of the rabid misogyny entrenched within the civil rights movement. However, only internalized misogyny would lead any sister to imply that Obama is any less sexist than King and his peers. I do not recall King ever referring to any female reporter as “sweetie”. I never heard about King bashing the weight gain of any female celebrity as Obama degraded Jessica Simpson. It was never reported that King willfully conspired with sexist fans in media to viciously slay and degrade female politico peers, as Obama viciously slew and degraded Hillary Clinton and Sarah Palin.
You selectively praised political strategies. I will never do so unconditionally. Indeed it was Obama's expert political strategy that hoodwinked millions of voters who are still blinded by his mask of a post-racial, working class, and noble black Messiah. Your selective praise for Obama’s sinister political hoaxes was most repulsive when you analyzed the political strategy that King engaged at the 1964 Democratic National Convention (DNC).
How could you so expertly indict what you perceived as a betrayal of one group of heroic black politicos, yet fail to similarly indict Obama for the millions of jobless and homeless persons he has gravely betrayed internationally? Obama has robbed millions to escalate a bloody war in Afghanistan that is hauntingly reminiscent of Vietnam. Unlike you, King would never accept Obama’s bloody and brutal political strategies for any reason.
The most painful component of your revisionist slander of King was the way you desecrated his dear, platonic, and eternal friendship with Bayard Rustin. The very same hypocritical homohating “christians” who harassed King, are the very same ones that now demand that afrocentric public intellectuals, like myself and Dyson, give the blackish Obama a blank white pass to perpetually betray the black community. We refuse to ever excuse Obama, no matter how the truths we tell about him are twisted or ignored.
King defended and befriended Bayard as long as his political strategy would allow. Rustin’s extremely humiliating and lewd public sexual escapade was fatally complicit in the belated severing of his political ties with King. The elated holy gaybashers who advised King finally slew Rustin, yet they did so with Rustin’s own knife. In spite of the revisionist libel you have penned, King, Coretta, and Rustin remain an eternal trilogy of social warriors and sacred friends. Again, as you shamelessly embraced only Obama’s political strategy, this specific analysis escaped you.
Obama’s nominal and premature legacies are no match for an iota of King’s regal reign as a pacifist who fought for poor people. When King won the Nobel Peace Prize, it was a global honor. When war president Obama was selected to receive that same prize in 12 days, it was universally regarded as a global joke. King was a strategic clone of Mohandas Ghandi. Obama is a strategic clone of George W. Bush. Obama is an elitist. King was a champion of the poor. King frequently visited black enclaves. Obama avoids them religiously as he always evades all black racial arenas precisely as Dyson described.
In 1966, King visited and moved into a Chicago ghetto to help fight violent gangs. In 2008, Obama sought an Olympic bid to fatten the coffers of fellow slumlords in Chicago, as he brazenly ignored the brutal murder of Derrion Albert and many other violent children. Obama opted to send his presidential drones for a drive by photo opportunity instead. The wars in the streets of Chicago are not profitable enough to garner Obama’s attention, reserved for more lucrative engagements of America’s military industrial complex in Afghanistan. Unfortunately, the blood in the streets of Chicago does not flow above oil wells.
Even your blatantly biased column can never absolve Obama of his presidential sins. Your unfair analyses will never tarnish the universal heroism of King or Rustin. King is a passionate revolutionary legend. Obama is a phony corporate brand. As long as King was passively promoting integration, he was allowed to live. King’s aggressive stance against the Vietnam War and his fatal foray to help the working poor preceded his public execution. Truth is more powerful than any revolutionary. It is its own invincible defense.
Truthfully, Obama is far more powerful than King ever was. Obama chooses to contain his power to exclusively benefit his elitist peers. He brazenly focuses his power solely to assist the greed of corporate vampires and increasingly massive war machines.
Unlike millions of Obama Nazis who blindly worship Obama, we awakened afrocentric public intellectuals do not worship King. We revere and remember King as a man who hated war and loved poor people. King did often stand alone against war and elitism before his brutal murder. Unlike Obama, King was not afraid to stand alone to save poor/black people.
It is only Obama who has become an evil deity. It is Obama who stands with a throng of elitists upon the necks of millions of poor/black people whom he financially and politically executes each day. I anxiously await the blessed day when Obama’s vapid and coddled rock star status will finally garner no more masochistically adoring throngs.
To date, I see no leadership and no trace of King in the blackish Obama that would warrant any comparison whatsoever to King's eternally transformational leadership. I revere and respect King. I will reserve such emotions for Obama until I see any modicum of the "hope and change" that he promised come as a result of any of his elitist and warmongering presidential deeds. I do not share your rosy and reverent vision of Obama’s invisible heroic feats in our tragically sabotaged nation.

2008
One of the best documentaries ever filmed is called “All God’s Children (2001)”. It is produced by Woman Vision, The National Black Gay and Lesbian Leadership Forum, and the National Gay and Lesbian Task Force. I praise and reference it frequently in my columns. This classic film features a godly look at black gays.
Interviewees include heterosexual political celebrities like Dr. Cornel West and Maxine Waters; out gay activists like Phill Wilson and Bishop Carl Bean; beautiful, spousal, black gay and lesbian couples, and many other black intellectuals. Rebel pastors who refuse to preach hatred or banish gays from their churches, like the wonderful and revered Reverend Dr. Cecil L. “Chip” Murray, also star in this outstanding documentary.
The highlight of this classic film is a sister I deeply admire. She is Dr. Marjorie J. Hill, a health professional, New York politico, and an out lesbian warrior I revere. She glows in this film, as she recounts a question from a typical moron once posed to her: “Who is the Martin Luther King of the gay community?”. Dr Hill typically replied: “Martin Luther King is the Martin Luther King of the gay community!”. She is always regal and confident as all true African-American queens.
The greatest stars of this film are the parents and siblings of gay persons who appear. They express divine, defiant, and unconditional love for their gay kin. These family members are far godlier than most evil homohating pastors. The mother of iconic black gay author Joseph Beam is especially moving, as she passionately mourns the death and heralds the life of her beautiful and beloved son.
This film should be mandatory viewing for all Christians. It should also be viewed by all teenagers as sexual education to counter the gaybashing sexual suicide mandated by most black churches. It is therapeutic. I watch it often. As I watch it, I am always healed…
I watch this film as religious and spiritual antitoxins. It allows me to emotionally detoxify from much of the blasphemous ignorance that passes as religion in most black churches. It heals me when I am wounded by the poisonous antics of Charlene Cothran and the new Venus magazine
I watch this film often because it dries my hot tears of anger at the droves of black preachers who allow themselves to be pimped by racist neocons, like King Shrub’s (George W. Bush’s) house boy T. D. Jakes. These preacher pimps individually allowed racist Republikkkans to dupe them and their mindless, masochistic, black flocks into aiding and abetting neocons, as they stole yet another election in 2004. They epitomize the audacity of amnesia whenever they dare to lament what we now endure collectively at the hands of an increasingly amoral and ruthless Republikkkan regime.
I watch this film often because it reminds me that some church homes are still indeed sanctuaries for all black kindred souls, even those housed within bodies that happen to be homosexual. This film expertly defies religious lies that blaspheme god and relegate holy texts to be used exclusively as mere primers for holy hatreds.
My soul is saved by many other people and things in my life each day. I am soothed daily by my soul mate who is a fellow African-American queen. Our dual queendom is my truest sanctuary. I am also always soothed by the timeless wisdom of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. He was far more than a global hero. He was a poet, a prophet, and a sage. His words are amazingly applicable to all of the political and social woes that fueled his mission and linger still…
Dr. King was never a gay basher. He bravely battled with gay bashers often as he defended and respected a dear friend, an organizational legend, a fellow warrior, and a gay man named Bayard Rustin. Coretta Scott King was always a great ally to gay activists, and she will truly be irreplaceable as our most recent felled warrior among church folks.
Civil rights legend Julian Bond dared to reprimand the white sheep of the King family, Bernice King, and skip Coretta’s funeral service. Bond admirably and respectfully did so in a dignified protest against the rabidly gaybashing pastor of the church chosen to host the service, a fool named Eddie Long. Sadly and surely Bernice’s curious and equally notorious gay hatred had a hand in desecrating her mother’s service so…
I dream of Dr. King, Coretta, Malcolm X, and Dr. Betty Shabazz, all sharing a heavenly soul food dinner, chatting, dining and resting in peace in a superior, cosmic, eternal place. They dwell in a space where they can be free and forget all of the hateful insanity that we still endure here on this evil earth. (After dinner, they chat about checking that embarassing Bernice King ASAP too!)
I am certain that Dr. King would not condone the gay hatred that is being mandated in black churches today. He would not allow himself to be pimped by Republikkkans. He would not preach sexual bigotry to black heterosexuals. He would not encourage sexual suicide to black gays. He would still be calling out black church folks for all of their social, political, and moral sins, just as he did decades ago. And, he would still befriend and defend Rustin.
Dr. King penned the excerpted letter below just months before I was born on August 10, 1963. It is one of the most timeless and profound pieces of powerful prose and rebel wisdom I have ever read. I read it often. It inspires and empowers me to know that one of the most heroic and truly Christian men who ever lived was equally disgusted by the evil lives and deeds of hypocritical and bigoted church folks. It heals me to know that a man so uniquely brave and intelligent was as disappointed and dejected by holy ignorant hypochristian cowards as I am.
I share segments of this letter below as a literal “Balm in Gilead”. May they soothe your rebel souls as they do my very own. Dr. King loved us all irrespective of sexuality. Coretta did too. May God bless their beloved souls eternally…
For the record, there are those gay haters who will view this column as libel. They will do so simply because they deeply fear the undeniable similarities between racism and homohatred. They pretend that we are equating the entirety of two ancient struggles simply by noting specific glaring equalities. Do not believe the racist hype.
No fool would completely equate gaybashing to racism in scope or history. Likewise, no fool would be so completely blind as to deny their similarities in passion and practice. Like Audre Lorde said, all of the “-ism’s” are indeed related. That includes racism, sexism, and heterosexism always:
April 16, 1963
"MY DEAR FELLOW CLERGYMEN:
Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere. We are caught in an inescapable network of mutuality, tied in a single garment of destiny. Whatever affects one directly, affects all indirectly. Never again can we afford to live with the narrow, provincial "outside agitator" idea. Anyone who lives inside the United States can never be considered an outsider anywhere in this country.
There comes a time when the cup of endurance runs over, and men are no longer willing to be plunged into an abyss of injustice where they experience the blackness of corroding despair...
But though I was initially disappointed at being categorized as an extremist, as I continued to think about the matter I gradually gained a measure of satisfaction from the label. …So the question is not whether we will be extremists, but what kind of extremists we will be. Will we be extremists for hate or for love? Will we be extremist for the preservation of injustice or for the extension of justice?… In that dramatic scene on Calvary's hill three men were crucified. We must never forget that all three were crucified for the same crime---the crime of extremism. Two were extremists for immorality, and thus fell below their environment. The other, Jesus Christ, was an extremist for love, truth, and goodness, and thereby rose above his environment. Perhaps the South, the nation and the world are in dire need of creative extremists…
I had hoped that the white moderate would see this need. Perhaps I was too optimistic; perhaps I expected too much. I suppose I should have realized that few members of the oppressor race can understand the deep groans and passionate yearnings of the oppressed race, and still fewer have the vision to see that injustice must be rooted out by strong, persistent, and determined action…
Let me take note of my other major disappointment. I have been so greatly disappointed with the white church and its leadership. Of course, there are some notable exceptions… I must honestly reiterate that I have been disappointed with the church. I do not say this as one of those negative critics who can always find something wrong with the church. I say this as a minister of the gospel, who loves the church; who was nurtured in its bosom; who has been sustained by its spiritual blessings and who will remain true to it as long as the cord of life shall lengthen.
When I was suddenly catapulted into the leadership of the bus protest in Montgomery, Alabama, a few years ago, I felt we would be supported by the white church, felt that the white ministers, priests, and rabbis of the South would be among our strongest allies. Instead, some have been outright opponents, refusing to understand the freedom movement and misrepresenting its leaders; all too many others have been more cautious than courageous and have remained silent behind the anesthetizing security of stained-glass windows.
In spite of my shattered dreams, I came to Birmingham with the hope that the white religious leadership of this community would see the justice of our cause and, with deep moral concern, would serve as the channel through which our just grievances could reach the power structure. I had hoped that each of you would understand. But again I have been disappointed.
I have heard numerous southern religious leaders admonish their worshipers to comply with a desegregation decision because it is the law, but I have longed to hear white ministers declare: "Follow this decree because integration is morally right and because the Negro is your brother." In the midst of blatant injustices inflicted upon the Negro, I have watched white churchmen stand on the sideline and mouth pious irrelevancies and sanctimonious trivialities.
In the midst of a mighty struggle to rid our nation of racial and economic injustice, I have heard many ministers say: "Those are social issues, with which the gospel has no real concern." And I have watched many churches commit themselves to a completely other worldly religion which made a strange distinction between body and soul, the sacred and the secular.
I have traveled the length and breadth of Alabama, Mississippi, and all the other southern states. On sweltering summer days and crisp autumn mornings I have looked at the South's beautiful churches with their lofty spires pointing heavenward. I have beheld the impressive outlines of her massive religious education buildings. Over and over I have found myself asking: "What kind of people worship here? Who is their God?”…
Yes, these questions are still in my mind. In deep disappointment I have wept over the laxity of the church. But be assured that my tears have been tears of love. There can be no deep disappointment where there is not deep love. Yes, I love the church. How could I do otherwise? l am in the rather unique position of being the son, the grandson and the great-grandson of preachers. Yes, I see the church as the body of Christ. But, oh! How we have blemished and scarred that body through social neglect and through fear of being nonconformists.
There was a time when the church was very powerful in the time when the early Christians rejoiced at being deemed worthy to suffer for what they believed. In those days the church was not merely a thermometer that recorded the ideas and principles of popular opinion; it was a thermostat that transformed the mores of society. Whenever the early Christians entered a town, the people in power became disturbed and immediately sought to convict them for being "disturbers of the peace" and "outside agitators". But they went on with the conviction that they were "a colony of heaven", and had to obey God rather than man. They were small in number but big in commitment. They were too God-intoxicated to be "astronomically intimidated". They brought an end to such ancient evils as infanticide and gladiatorial contests.
Things are different now. The contemporary church is often a weak, ineffectual voice with an uncertain sound. It is so often the arch-supporter of the status quo. Far from being disturbed by the presence of the church, the power structure of the average community is consoled by the church's silent and often vocal sanction of things as they are.
But the judgment of God is upon the church as never before. If the church of today does not recapture the sacrificial spirit of the early church, it will lose its authentic ring, forfeit the loyalty of millions, and be dismissed as an irrelevant social club with no meaning for the twentieth century. I am meeting young people every day whose disappointment with the church has risen to outright disgust.
Maybe again, I have been too optimistic. Is organized religion too inextricably bound to the status quo to save our nation and the world? Maybe I must turn my faith to the inner spiritual church, the church within the church, as the true ecclesia and the hope of the world. But again I am thankful to God that some noble souls from the ranks of organized religion have broken loose from the paralyzing chains of conformity and joined us as active partners in the struggle for freedom… Some have been kicked out of their churches, and lost support of their bishops and fellow ministers. But they have gone with the faith that right defeated is stronger than evil triumphant. Their witness has been the spiritual salt that has preserved the true meaning of the gospel in these troubled times. They have carved a tunnel of hope through the dark mountain of disappointment.
I hope the church as a whole will meet the challenge of this decisive hour. But even if the church does not come to the aid of justice, I have no despair about the future… Abused and scorned though we may be, our destiny is tied up with the destiny of America. Before the pilgrims landed at Plymouth we were here. Before the pen of Jefferson etched across the pages of history the majestic words of the Declaration of Independence, we were here. For more than two centuries our foreparents labored in this country without wages; they made cotton king; and they built the homes of their masters in the midst of brutal injustice and shameful humiliation--and yet out of a bottomless vitality they continued to thrive and develop. If the inexpressible cruelties of slavery could not stop us, the opposition we now face will surely fail. We will win our freedom because the sacred heritage of our nation and the eternal will of God are embodied in our echoing demands.
T. S. Eliot has said that there is no greater treason than to do the right deed for the wrong reason...
Yours for the cause of
Peace and Brotherhood,
MARTIN LUTHER KING, JR."

1996
Jennifer Lopez sang "nigga" and the ass worshippers changed religions! White supremacists recorded bigoted punk rock songs and they were exiled to independent record labels. Michael Jackson sang "kike me" and the media whipped him like his bleached skin was suddenly ebony black. Michael re-mixed and apologized more quickly than "Kunta Kinte" called himself "Toby" in the film “ROOTS”.
Gangsta rappers are routinely checked for the sexism and homohatred in their lyrics. Eminem's (Enema's) psycho raps are regular front page news. But, reggae musicians have a magical and special privilege globally. Somehow, they are typically allowed to sing hatred without challenge or reprimand.
Buju Banton and Shabba Ranks caught some flack in the 1980s. But, it was nominal. Buju sang "Boom Bye Bye". It was a graphic and murderous song about a peeping tom who brutally murders two gay lovers, in their own bedroom, with a shotgun. This violent song does not just condone spying upon, stalking, and killing gays. It celebrates such abuses in syncopation.
Shabba often went off on curious gaybashing tangents during interviews. Both "artists" made it clear that their insincere apologies were extended under duress and only temporarily valid, until checks were cashed. Today's reggae lyricists are colder and bolder with their hateful gaybashing tunes. And, the reggae bands play on as the checks roll in....
At a recent reggae awards show, gay protesters from a rebel organization called "OutRage" were nearly killed by gaybashing reggae music fans, led by macho teens yelling "Kill the Batty Boys & Chi-Chi Men!!!" (Caribbean monikers for homosexuals). Police officers rescued the protesters. Yet, not a single attacker was arrested.
How and why do we homosexuals threaten Jamaica/Jamaicans so? Why is their collective hatred so rabid against us? Why does the world allow this hatred to fuel an entire musical genre? Songs like TOK's "Chi-Chi Man" celebrate torching and shooting up gay bars, just as Capleton's song "Bun Di Chi-Chi".
Why is there so much global silence about black on black cruelty, whether it is slavery in Sudan or gaybashing in Jamaica? Why do so few leaders challenge homohatred as Nelson Mandela, Desmond Tutu, Kweisi Mfume and the NAACP have done? Why are so few black gay celebrities out and sexually honest like Meshell N'degeocello and Alice Walker? Why are droves of black gay celebrities living lies by pretending to be heterosexual or bisexual?
It pains me to know that the Jamaican culture, that I love so deeply, blatantly hates me simply because I love women as a lesbian. I am clearly told that I am not welcome as a tourist on Jamaican soil unless I hide who I am. And, I know that reggae lyrics will deliberately offend me no matter how many lesbian dollars buy reggae CD's or how joyfully droves of lesbians’ rhythms feel the reggae beats.
The ganja, the jerk chicken, the limeades, the dreadlocks...all mesh to mean One Love, except when it morphs into One Hatred for the One Love that we homosexuals share with consenting and kindred adults. If Jah rules, then why are we homosexuals, who are created by Jah in every living species, always ruled out by this hateful music? Why can't I and I be Irie too??? Rastafarians are generally scholars on racist biblical lies, yet Jamaicans generally revel in equivalent biblical lies about homosexuality.
All of the "-isms" are related. One cannot be righteous and reject racism while embracing sexism, heterosexism, and homohatred. One cannot divinely enagage humanism while hating humans who are homosexuals. One cannot share wisdom about Babylon while spreading lies about Sodom.
One Love...One & ALL. Nothing is as “batty” as ignorance, scientific moronism, sexual insecurity, religious fiction, and toxic bigotry! Until then, beware: "Batty boys and girls" like me will be wielding bigger and better bats!!!
Like Peter Tosh sang: "Like a stepping razor...I am dangerous!"...Like Bob Marley & The Wailers sang: "You are the big tree...but we are the small axe." Like Sister Carol sang: "Get it straight Africans....Get it straight!"
Jah know, for all righteous rebels, the revolution soon come. And, it bettamustcome for all who are righteous warriors, irrespective of sexual diversity. None of us will be free until all of us are free...
Labi Siffre : "White Slavers In Dreadlocks"
beenie man and buju banton, sizzla, tok and elephant man,
vybz kartel and bounty killer, capleton - mon,
why you all degrade and weaken the black nation
‘stead of trying to save em from hatred and discrimination?
cutting edge, brave and bold you claim, but lame
your salvation answer be to teach black children hatred
and discrimination of others; that's no way to raise
themselves black sisters and brothers
hatred and discrimination, they the tools the white man
used to make us slaves
clever of you to learn the white slaver’s ways;
and it makes you lot o money of course
that way always does (no shock)
you learned that lesson well (from Rupert Murdoch?)
black brothers no, methinks not.
you just another jancro flock
of slack white slavers in dreadlocks.
you preach hatred and discrimination of me,
a gay, black man who wrote
“Something Inside So Strong” a song of defiance
and self-affirmation for black people, red people,
gay people, disabled people, old people, women,
children, every people suffering prejudice
righteous, you quote your holy book like standard
'ypocrites and fascists, and no surprise look see
as usual list selectively only the parts you need to sell
your cowardice and bigotry; well, we shouldn’t expect
courage from you fellas who clearly lack the balls
to follow Nelson Mandela
and no matter how high you fly you renk
who raise yourselves by treading on others
black brothers no, methinks not.
you just another jancro flock
of slack white slavers in dreadlocks.
